The film "Notes In The Valley" is a short film from Matthew J. Fridg and Illuminate: a moving picture co. produced in association with Production Masters, Inc. (PMI). This film is part of a unique project connected to the Pittsburgh 250 initiative in which several films were made by local Pittsburgh filmmakers to feature a different Pittsburgh neighborhood in each film. Matthew's film takes place in Homestead, PA, the heart of the Western Pennsylvania steel industry of the early 1900s and the location of the infamous and bloody Homestead steel workers strike.
